Local Supplier Proud To Supply Door Hardware
Stockport based architectural ironmonger Cookson Hardware are proud to have recently supplied all new contemporary door furniture and security master keyed cylinders to the multi level refurbishment of the corridors and lecture rooms of Manchester Metropolitan University’s John Dalton East Building.
Sales Manager Paul Latham said, “In such a competitive environment it was not only our ability to work closely with the client to design a complex master key lock system, but also our capability to build the lock cylinders in our lock-shop, allowing us to offer a high quality, quick, post contact customer service and support which enabled us to secure this project.”
John Dalton
The building situated on the All Saints Campus, Manchester is
named after John Dalton FRS, an English chemist, meteorologist and physicist who was born in Cumberland moving to Manchester to teach in 1793. He is best known for his pioneering work in the development of modern atomic theory, and his research into colour blindness, sometimes referred to as Daltonism in his honour.
Once the specification had been agreed, Cookson’s worked closely with the contractor to ensure that it was successfully carried through to completion.
